Get the latest tools and resources that will really help your startup.

This week I’m listing a TON of tools, mostly from a talk I gave last weekend, and adding a book recommendation every week. I’m starting a weekly growth journal, in which I talk about the efforts and tools I use in detail to try to grow my businesses. Look for the first entry of that next week.
My February income report is out, too, detailing the growth of my three main projects. Spoiler alert: I’m no longer “pre-revenue” with any of them.

Brand24 - Brand24 provides a reliable, easy to use, and affordable solution to get instant access to online mentions relevant to your brand, products, competitors or topic of interest. It allows you to both track and engage online conversations relevant to your business. Follow-up on positive comments from your brand ambassadors, or respond to a dissatisfied customer before the story gets ahead of you. 80% of consumers do research or ask online before making a buying decision. Brand24 gives you the listening tools to find these leads, identify where to promote products and find customers before they find you!
Tool of the week
Slaask - Everyone’s all about Slack these days, and if you’re like me, you’re probably on it all the time. So why not manage your site’s chat support from Slack, too? Slaask is an awesome way to have live chat support on your site that you just handle from Slack, and it’s super easy to install. I got it up and running on two of my sites in no time.

Some tools from this week - I needed advice on growing my online dating related startup, so I scheduled a free call with a growth hacker and we talked for 20 minutes ago, comparing ideas. I got ideas and inspiration. For free and often super helpful advice, is incredible.
GetHTTPSforfree - SSL’s are annoying and they can be expensive, but apparently this is a free solution. I thought that sounded impossibly good, but this Hacker News article made it sound legit
GeoIPtool - Out of curiosity, I like to see where my Slaask chatters are from, so this is the tool I use, based on their IP address.
