Another Friday! Where did the time go? I pulled the trigger on Monday this week and unsubscribed about 600 folks who were receiving this newsletter but hadn’t opened any issue for the last 3 months or so. Very scary! I’m looking forward to seeing the increased open rates though, and once I get some perspective on how this went, I will write up a blog post about it. Stay tuned!

How to Host or Attend a "Tiny" Conference
A tiny conference is one with fewer than 30 (and ideally 10-12, per the author) attendees, doing something fun together and then doing sessions on business topics. I love this idea! Who wants to invite me to one? 😉

Company of One – Why staying small is the next big thing in business
This is an upcoming book by Paul Jarvis that I’m excited to read, on why staying small (or at least, questioning whether all growth is good) is the next big thing in business. It’s currently on pre-order and will be out on January 15th. You can read the first chapter after you pre-order and register your purchase.

Thanks for reading! Cheers, Jói
P.S.: I’ve never needed to do this before, but it was pointed out to me that Instaaa, which I included in last week’s newsletter, seems like it might be a scam judging from their reviews on reputable sites like ProductHunt, or at least it likely has poor customer service. I’m removing the link from the archive of last week’s newsletter.
