Hey Everyone!
I’m doing an accountability group online with a few other entrepreneurs and it’s incredible for my productivity level. If you’re interested in doing one with me in January, reply and let me know. I need only a few people for it.
This newsletter has the usual below: some tools and some articles!
Thanks to everyone who filled out the survey last time about how to improve the newsletter. I need your feedback to know how to improve it. Go here to fill out the 3 question form. I’ll pick a couple people from the respondents to receive a gift, either a free pass to or to, or I can send you some artisinal soap that I made (yeah my hobby is making fancy soap!). If you filled out the form last time, just reply and let me know, if you want to be entered now.

Tool of the week
MailerLite - If you’re bootstrapped, then you gotta be frugal. Mailerlite is free if you’ve got less than 1000 people on your list, and cheap at higher levels. It’s awesome and worth using as a drip / auto responder if nothing else. I’m using it with two of my sites to try to improve sales by using optinmonster (you could use any popup tool) as my exit-intent pop up offer a lead magnet, and then have MailerLite either put them on a drip or email them one time with the information. It has an API so it can be plugged into anything. Really well done, and you can’t beat the price.

Five SEO tools I used recently and why
First off, apologies that I mentioned two of these tools in the last newsletter, and here they are again, but I’ve been focused on improving SEO for one of my sites and thought people could benefit from seeing how I used them in combination…
Positionly - Positionly is awesome to keep track of your rankings over time, and gives some suggestions on how to improve. What doesn’t get measured doesn’t get improved, right?
Glasshat - A super thorough tool to go over your entire site and itemize every single thing you need to change or improve in order to rank higher. It doesn’t focus super specifically on keywords per page, but it focuses more on overall SEO for the site. It’s new but I was really impressed with it.
Raven - Very similar to Glasshat, it does an overall audit of your site and shows you what to improve and why.
Yoast - If you have a wordpress site, Yoast lets you optimize every single page for a certain keyword.
SEcockpit - The most in depth keyword researcher I’ve found. It’s great because it tells how hard it would be to rank for a certain phrase, and calculates a niche value for every phrase by comparing difficulty versus volume. Enter one keyword phrase and it will give you data on hundreds of related phrases.
