Hi everyone, I’m Jói Sigurdsson!
Many thanks to Stuart for introducing me in last week’s issue. Getting to know him over the past few months has been great, and like many of you I’ve been a subscriber from day one, so you can understand I’m very excited to be taking over curation of the site and this mailing list.
Very briefly about me, my career in the tech world goes back 21 years, with 11 years spent doing startups (including the last several years) and close to 10 years leading technical projects at Google.
You can expect more of the same type of content Stuart has been putting out this last year and a half, although of course it may take me some time to ramp up and things will likely evolve a bit.
I’d love your feedback on what you’d like to see more of, what you’d like to see less of, and any new categories you’d like to hear about. You can use the thumbs-up/thumbs-down feature at the bottom of the newsletter to let me know what you think (it will give you a field for general feedback right after you click either icon), or just respond directly to this email.

That's it for this issue
I’m really glad to be here and I look forward to all the future issues of this newsletter. I’d love to keep the discussion going, and we can use the Slack channel for that (just email me for an invitation if you’re interested). I’d also love to know if Slack is what everybody prefers for that kind of thing; use the thumbs-up/thumbs-down feedback widget below to let me know (there’s a free-form text entry after you click either icon).
Do you offer your website visitors a live demo of your software product? If so, take a look at my company CrankWheel. It lets you go from interested prospect on your website to a live demo in seconds instead of days. If you’re the only person at your company doing sales, you can use our free version.
